Designed by architect Rem Koolhaas, Casa da Música was created as an outstanding cultural project as a symbol of Porto 2001 - European Capital of Culture event. As a music venue, it offers an innovative programme for all age groups, combining different musical genres in activities ranging from concerts to workshops, thematic parties and guided tours. The Cibermusic room acts as a meeting point between education, research and music, providing the facilities for the incubation and development of creative music projects.
