A contemporary art, media and technology institution, and a permanent exhibition/lab space in WROclaw.
The Center's activities are based on the experience of the WRO Center for Media Art Foundation which since 1989 has established the WRO International Media Art Biennale as an international event presenting contemporary artistic practices related to the development of communication tools.
This multifunctional gallery and laboratory brings together media artists, curators, theoreticians, art managers and activists from all over the world; promotes artists from Central and Eastern Europe; and creates a framework for intellectual exchange, preparing numerous experimental events, carrying out interactive installations, internet performances, multimedia concerts, exhibitions as well as educational projects and documentation of artistic activity.
