
Launched in 1991, its core idea is inter-cultural communication and the creation of a common Europe that bridges political, ideological and religious divisions and underscores the significance of Central Europe for European and global heritage.
Its programme focus primarily on cultural heritage, identity and collective memory, culture management, and dialogue between cultures and societies. Most of the activities proposed, as exhibitions, conferences and publications are prepared or conducted in cooperation with foreign partners.
