Tirana Art Lab works to find studio space for artists, to offer training and workshops, and to organise artists' residencies and exchange programmes with other artists and international institutions. The centre is involved in collaborative projects with institutions in other countries, mainly across Eastern Central and Southeast Europe.

The centre aims to create a collection of works by young artists and to set up a library of publications and books on contemporary art.
