A permanent information system of the Council of Europe linking European governmental departments responsible for cultural heritage conservation.
Since the 4th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for the Cultural Heritage in 1996, it has been developed as an instrument for implementing and monitoring the European conventions on the architectural and archaeological heritage.
