A platform for the development of new media industries in Europe and a professional network of producers and designers. Started as an initiative of EU member states under the Austrian Presidency, supported by the national governments, the European Commission and private industry. It is a strategic project to develop the fast-moving multimedia markets in Europe, and organises the pan-European Multimedia Content Award.
