It continues the work initiated by Balkankult association, founded in 1999, in Sarajevo.
It is an umbrella organisation that supports and promotes cultural projects throughout the Balkan region of South East Europe. It works with partner organisations in all these countries and develops cross-border projects, information networks and databases.
