A non-profit organisation that creates platforms for people interested in cities around Europe. The organisation aims to foster active participation in citizenship. It works across disciplines, focusing on four areas: salons, an annual festival, publications and a library and archive.
The organisation offers an arena for emerging practitioners from across Europe who work on cities from different perspectives: architects, policy-makers, psychologists, writers/journalists, artists, film-makers, researchers, urban think tanks, students, human rights and social justice organisations, politicians, youth workers, etc. The organisation serves as facilitator and offers the infrastructure needed to enable the participants to organise their own events, such as workshops, seminars, etc. Activities are initiated and developed by the participants and key questions naturally emerge through participants' initiatives.
