A short story festival that takes place in the town of Kikinda in the northernmost part of Serbia, it brings young authors from middle and south-eastern Europe together with the region’s editors, publishers and interpreters.
The festival’s goal is to raise the profile of the short story and to make reading more popular, particularly among secondary school students. It also aims to promote tolerance and cultural differences.
Since 2006, there have been four festivals with the participation of more than 90 guests from 12 countries in a dynamic programme that includes workshops, multimedia presentations and concerts.
