
For the German-Polish publication of essays-collection written in the frame of "Letters to Milosz" HALMA - the European Network of Literary Centres is looking for graphic material of young Polish and German artists. Deadline: 15 August 2011.
The aim of the competition:
The work of the winners will be published in a bilingual publication, thanks to the support from the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, entitled “Letters to Milosz “. A note on the author (the © stays with the artist) is guaranteed. Moreover the author will receive some free copies of the book. The book will be published in autumn 2011 and presented to the German public at the Polish Institute in Leipzig.
Target group:
young Polish and German artists of photography and graphic arts field. Age limit: up to 30 years old. Each participant can submit a maximum among of 5 print-ready works.
Eligibility:
Format: collages, photographs, drawings, prints, mixed media, etc. (only black and white and only in digital form)
Themes: identity, Europe, diversity, Milosz-year, topics of the online published essays under: http://www.letterstomilosz.eu/english/essays/

The works can be either sent via e-mail to presse@halma-network.eu, the message should not exceed the size of 2 MB., or be uploaded - do not forget to sent us the link.
The deadline for entries is 08/15/2011.
