PROGRAMME
Physical Action is the most important element for the actor, it involves his entire nature and psychophysical instrument: mind, body, and soul.
The programme includes intensive practical training, lectures and discussions and is open to professional performers, actors of physical, dramatic, dance and musical theatres, circus performers, dancers, directors and choreographers.
Participants will become acquainted with Ostrenko Method of actor's physical training formed and inspired by the greatest figures of the Russian Theatre Tradition and the newest experiments in performing arts.
The workshop programme is the opportunity to explore the principles of Method of Physical Actions, gain the practical understanding of the concepts of Given Circumstances, Inner Monologue, Active Analysis, to touch the main aspects of Stanislavski's Psychotechnique. The group will gain a deeper understanding of how these principles can be successfully integrated, developed and applied to practical work - rehearsal process, performance and teaching.
The working language is English.
