This is a simple voluntary certification programme (a project of Julie’s bicycle) that enables companies to demonstrate leadership on climate change action with scientific integrity. Following the straightforward guidelines and criteria set out in Industry Green documentation will give companies the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions that make good sense for businesses and the environment.

The four principles of Industry Green are:

• to commit to action on climate change
• to understand your environmental impacts
• to improve your environmental performance
• to communicate to others your environmental impacts and actions.

Successful participants receive the “ig mark” so they can communicate their achievements to staff, suppliers, consumers and audiences.
