The first point of contact for organisations wishing to apply for funding under the EU framework programme for culture, CCPs are responsible for its promotion and for making sure that information flows smoothly between national cultural institutions in EU member states.
Germany's CCP is run by the Kulturpolitischen Gesellschaft (Association for Cultural Policy) which founded it in 1998 together with the Deutscher Kulturrat.
