I am a visual artist from Gyumri, the second biggest city in the Republic of Armenia, where I live and work. In 2008, I completed my studies at Gyumri Academy of Art in the department of visual art. Currently, I am working in a spectrum of media spanning which includes film, photography, installation and performance. Alternative ways of interpreting the geopolitical transformation in the Caucasus region has been an important creative challenge evident in my work while often working with young artists. I am one of the co-initiators of the alternative cultural group called "5th FLOOR" in Gyumri.
