Futuresonic is the UK's leading festival for digital culture. It was nominated for the prestigious Lever Arts Prize in 2009.

The festival features world premieres of artworks, a city-wide music programme, and thinkers from around the world. It occupies the orbits of art, performance, music, design and digital culture.

Futuresonic has devised large-scale, participatory mass observation projects on climate and biodiversity in collaboration with the Met Office and Natural History Museum. It also uses participatory artworks to explore new ways to address environmental sustainability.
