Located in Barcelona, MECAD supports creative practices that use infographic, audio-visual and telematic media and hypermedia. It runs a postgraduate training programme. Open and decentralised, it pursues its activities within its own installations as well as other cultural spaces and in the telematic space. MECAD was initiated by the Disseny Textile Foundation (FUNDIT).
