Intercultural Competences in the Creative City

Author: Lidia Varbanova - Date: 16 mar 2009, 15:29

An article about an experiment in Europe’s major cities to determine how people from different backgrounds can relate to each other and make a contribution to the socially responsible, sustainable development of cities.

Cultural diversity is an essential component of the evolution of the creative city. This is summarised in the article as a formula: creative city + diversity = diverse city. The latter is a creative city in which the diversity of the cultural sector acts as its engine.
