From 11 to 16 October, the International Music Council (of which we are a regional group) organised its 2nd World Forum of Music, together with its biannual General Assembly. This year, it was taking place in Beijing, China.
There were elections taking place at this General Assembly, and we are delighted to announce that the EMC treasurer, Sonja Greiner (Secretary General of Europa Cantat - European Federation of Young Choirs) was elected into the Executive Board of the IMC, as well as Board member Timo Klemettinen (Secretary General of the Finnish Music Council, Managing Director of the Association of Finnish Music Schools and board member of the European Music School Union).
