
WHAT IS THE MAIN IDEA OF THE PROJECT AND WHO IS THE TARGET GROUP?
The project CHIOŞC represents a place free of institutional control. It aims to provide a platform for a wide range of renowned but also marginalised initiatives from the local level and from the region. It strives to interact with the public and to offer visibility to artists, curators and cultural workers operating within the public domain.
CHIOŞC intends to present the diversity and richness of different art practices carried out in most parts of European continent by:
By establishing an “art bureau” (an interdisciplinary public platform for manifestation, meeting, sharing and exchange), the partners wish to promote contemporary art and youth culture in a public space, to state its importance in the process of transition by strengthening the local and developing the regional and international network of cultural operators and professionals.
