For the last 2 years, Faraz has been the Chair of Community Urban Rennaisance Enterprise (CURE) which provides support services for young people from excluded minority ethnic communities in Birmingham, UK.

A freelance writer, he is also a columnist with the Trinity Mirror Group and is a regular broadcaster on community issues for the BBC.

Faraz is very interested in using new media channels to promote art and culture from accross the world, particularly to Muslim communities in Europe and the Middle East as a way of shifting the debate away from faith and politics and towards creativity, art, and our shared humanity.
