The U.S. National Archives just joined Flickr The Commons, the world’s public photography archives on Flickr. There are already more than 3000 images in 49 sets uploaded. Many historical and iconic images of American history can be seen, including the series by Mathew Brady during the Civil War and Ansel Adams' stunning landscapes.
It is also interesting to see that the US National Archives is involved with the community, following and answering many comments!
