Pieter van Kemenade ("pike") has worked as freelance engineer/designer for various projects after receiving his B.A. in multimedia at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam in 1995. During that period he developed skills in various programming and markuplanguages.
From 2006 to 2010 one of his freelance projects was the technical management of the LabforCulture - this site.
