Street Artists in Europe

This study analyses the situation of street artists in Europe, including information from all EU member countries. The report evaluates the importance of street arts and analyses the special features of this informal artistic form: its economic, political and cultural context, considering its multidisciplinary nature, its social and urban involvement, as well as its audience. The first chapters concentrate on the definition of street arts, as well as trying to define its social and intellectual status and public recognition. It also includes some policy recommendations for the development of the sector at the European level.
