Charities Aid Foundation ( CAF)

Operating since 1924, CAF is a UK-based powerful organisation lobbying for effective charitable giving. It provides services to charities and supporters on an economic level and is an important interface with government policy. CAF handles some £1 billion annually. It now operates through branch offices in London, Brussels, Bulgaria, Russia, Australia, India, South Africa and USA, with a 'charity account' for over 80,000 individual donors, pooling £60 million in 2004.
