A scientific society which seeks to further understanding of the economic aspects of culture and the arts throughout the world. Includes academic scholars, government officials, foundation officials, managers of arts and cultural organisations as well as artists. Holds international research conferences every two years and sponsors small conferences, workshops, and sessions. It also has a journal and other publications.
