Arts Centre Coliseum was founded in 1997, with supported from a private sponsor, by a group of artists and theatre managers, painters and communications managers, to diversify artistic forms, to produce alternative performances and events, to attract private funding, to organise international events, and to involve youth in cultural events. Lately the Centre has focused on producing performances related to social issues, organizing international tours, and developing international artistic cooperation.
