Association of Festivals for Innovative Jazz and Modern Music ( Afijma)

An association of around 30 French contemporary jazz and improvised music festivals, Afijma furthers French and European jazz and promotes international exchange in the field. Amongst others, it invites festival directors to France and gives travel grants to musicians performing abroad. Supported by the French Ministry of Culture, Afijma has initiated a number of European festivals.
