A legend in Polish theatre and renowned throughout Europe, its work goes back to the roots of Polish alternative theatre, to Jerzy Grotowski and Tadeusz Kantor. One of the key features of the theatre is life in a strong artistic commune. Over the thirty years of its existence, the theatre has staged more than forty premieres and established itself as one of the most important centres of alternative culture in Poland.
