It promotes processes that increase sociopolitical participation through creating cooperative networks in diverse disciplines, fields and countries. By presenting and comparing educational and cultural projects from Germany and abroad, lab concepts contributes to the development of educational policy standards as well as to new artistic and aesthetic formats. One of the tools it uses is its interactive website.
lab concepts runs the European database 'Connecting Europe' and publishes the European newsletter 'Thinking Europe' four times a year.
