It stimulates theoretical discussion, connects artists and organisations, promotes transdisciplinary collaboration, and facilitates information exchange. Its educational programme explores the use of digital technology and the Internet in relation to experimental art. Granular also offers a free-access database on Portuguese artists as well as a newsletter.
