One of the most important music festivals in France, bringing thousands of people to the harbour town of La Rochelle. The 'Chantier des francos' is a workshop for young upcoming artists to perfect their stage performance. Each year, 200,000 copies of an educational reference book are published after the festival, including dozens of songs.
