A online journal on "contemporary central and eastern European visual culture", discussing artistic creation in a political and historical context. The journal and its contributors from Europe and North America are particularly interested in the social context in which art is created and the structures of knowledge and discourse that influence our reading of art. As well as visual art content, the site includes a dedicated cine-view section for film and interviews with leading cultural practitioners and theorists. There is also an irregular newsletter.
