“Intercultural Dialogue in Development Education”, 9th–10th June 2008, Ljubljana (Slovenia)

This conference organised by SLOGA - Slovene EU-Platform for development cooperation and humanitarian aid along with many other European partner organisations, intends to bring forward intercultural dialogue as a new aspect of development education. The conference falls to the broader context of the official Slovene Presidency agenda and the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, addressing the importance of understanding cultural diversity and the need for strengthened intercultural cooperation in this sector.

Check more details of the conference at: http://www.sloga-platform.org/news/show/282

The intercultural dialogue debate has been contributing to empower and bring together the arts and culture sector along with other civil society organisations, including education and development, to finally engage with the political process and make their voice heard in such a transversal issue.

Keep updated with the developments of the Rainbow Platform for Intercultural Dialogue and participate (until 13th June) in their public consultation at: http://rainbowplatform.labforculture.org
