Assembly of European Regions (AER)

An independent network of regions in the wider Europe that promotes regional democracy and facilitates inter-regional cooperation.

Culture is one of AER´s main policy issues discussed within the Culture, Education & Training, Youth, Media & Information Technology, Inter-regional and International Cooperation Committee . Its mission is to promote diversity and to ensure that the regional perspective concerning these policy subjects is taken into account within EU institutions and programmes.
