Forum Dança produces events, encourages encounter between professionals and the public, offers artistic advice, has a dance and choreography resource centre, and publishes a newsletter. It also provides dance classes for all, from children to professional dancers. Forum Dança is a member of the international networks Butterfly Effect Network (BEN) and Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM), and has collaborated with several organisations on four continents. It was established in 1990.
