It aims to promote increased public awareness of international relations and communication issues, as well as promoting Croatia's international position and providing strategic decision analysis and support services to decision-makers on international issues. Its interdisciplinary fields of study range from international economic and political relations, international markets, foreign policy and European integration, sustainable development, environmental protection to culture and communication issues. It serves as a focal point for Culturelink, the world-wide network founded by UNESCO and the Council of Europe.
