Wesley D'Alessandro had an eclectic formation in drama, music and visual arts and initiated his dance studies in classical ballet in 1990. In 2000 he initiated his graduation in Dance and Movement at Anhembi Morumbi University (São Paulo / Brazil) and had classes with Bill Young (USA), Ruth Lima and Toula Limnaios (Germany), Rose Akras (Holland) and Marcelo Gabriel (Brazil), he studied choreography with Thomas Pliske (Germany), Xavier Le Roy and Patrick Delcroix (France), Rui Moreira and Henrique Rodovalho (Brazil).

He choreographed and interpreted the solo In the dark (2004), receiving the New and Newest Choreographers Interpreter’s Prize (São Paulo City Hall) and the City of Vitória's Prize (Vitória City Hall). He was interpreter-creator in the Aloísio Avaz's (Germany/2003) and Hiroshi Koike's (Japan/2004) choreographic residences. For the Assis Ballet City Company, he choreographed Déjeuner (2003), winner of Londrina Dance Festival.

As dancer and choreographer in the CAOS! Art Co. (São Paulo/Brazil, 2000-2005) participated in the III Dance Biennial SESC, VII International New Dance Festival, Senac’s Body & Technology Seminary (Brazil) and Mercosul Improvisation Laboratory (Argentina), where he also presented the workshop Subject Body – Deconstruction Processes of the Authorship and, in the International Winter Festival (Ouro Preto-MG/Brasil, 2005), the workshop Body and Communication. He is the author of the text The Body is the Gear that moves the City published in the book Body&Technology (Ed. SENAC/2004).

With the production of Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (São Paulo-Brazil), D’Alessandro created and interpreted the solo ONLY DREAM (2005), presented in the event Dança em Pauta curatored by Ana Francisca Ponzio, dance critic of the newspaper Folha de São Paulo and Dance Magazine. In 2007, as a guest of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, he choreographed the piece Ties&Legs, presented in the Seitensprünge event.
