"...if only we'd known back then just what it was we were going to do...."

After studying Film/Interactive Art at Newport, and completing a Masters in Design for the Environment at the University of the Arts London, I find myself in the position of artist and facilitator, as I try to bring divergent disciplines closer together in order to develop research and practice in the vibrant Europe of the 21st C. Initially employed in the Centre for Cognition, Computation and Culture at Goldsmiths, University of London, and helping to establish the infamous Digital Studios' Thursday Club, I am now in charge of Research Development at Goldsmiths. This includes all manner of research activity from the 16 diverse departments and soon I hope to develop my personal project, the Creative Research Unit, New Cross (CRUX). I have valuable experience in seeking out and securing pan-global funding for creative and social scientific projects including Framework 7, European Research Council, plus governmental (US, UK and Euro) and large trust funding bodies. I intend never to see the demise of Creative research and will fight any challenge that would see funding favour the might of 'Hard' science to the detriment of arts and humanities practitioners/researchers. ART IS DEAD LONG LIVE ART
