An artistic residency that provides a space for artistic production, meetings and discussion. Previous projects have included painting, graphic design, sculpture, installation, photography, video and new media.
Based in Bad Ems in Germany, the residency programme was set up by the Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Kultur (Foundation for Culture, Rhineland-Palatinate), from which the programme receives its funding.
Artists from Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as national and international artists, are sponsored through the award of artist-in-residence scholarships. Other scholarships are awarded for specific projects, including exchange projects.
