A private, non-profit, non-political NGO established in Bulgaria in 1992, with the support of two UK organisations.

It undertakes research in the fields of inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations in Bulgaria and the wider Balkan region in partnership with organisations from across Europe. IMIR's website contains links to many publications, reports and project descriptions, as well as providing an online catalogue.
