This document represents the decision-in-principle of the Finnish government to appraise the future of Finnish arts and artist policy and to recommend specific measures needed in response.
Art is examined in both individual and societal terms. Artists employement, social security, taxation and copyright are mentioned as well as the plans and programmes of the Finnish government in this domain.
