An international festival for new music created in Grenoble and featuring artists from all over the world, from rare traditions to the most daring of avant-garde experiments. The festival team also works on residency programmes for composers and musicians, musical productions and shows, especially transcultural projects bringing together artists from around the globe. In counterpoint to the festival, the 38e Rugissants organises a series of traditional music concerts called the "Musiques Nomades" and works on various cultural projects overseas.
