Alternative Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten

In den letzten Jahren haben die Einschränkungen der Kulturausgaben aus der öffentlichen Hand kreative Ideen über Alternativen zur „herkömmlichen“, allgemein bekannten öffentlichen und privaten Förderung durch Regierungen, Stiftungen, private Spender und Sponsoren bewirkt. „Neue“ Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten werden unter die Lupe genommen. Dazu zählen ethische Banken und soziale Finanzinstitute, für die soziale, umweltpolitische und kulturelle Ziele eine ebenso große Rolle spielen wie der finanzielle Gewinn. Solche Organisationen bieten möglicherweise Kredite statt finanzieller Förderung. Manche Behörden haben darüber hinaus Zwischenstellen eingerichtet, die Kulturschaffenden helfen, herkömmlichere Kredite von Banken zu nutzen.
