The issue of sustainability of independent cultural organisations in Romania

The Romanian independent cultural sector is constantly a trigger for flexibility, interdisciplinary arts emergence and boost for artistic cooperation. However, only few of the cultural and artistic NGOs gained solid recognition and long-term financial sustainability in the last decade. Which is the recipy for a successful financial outcome for the independent cultural Romanian cultural NGOs? Which are some of the success stories? What we learn from those independent organisations that failed to become sustainable?
